Amanda Pye Drop-in | Summer Intensive 2025
Friday July 18
9:15-11:15am (doors at 9am) @ 918 Bathurst
Amanda Pye (TORONTO)
Declutter + Decondition
Declutter & decondition is an invitation to strip away the stories we tell ourselves about ourselves—to notice where they shape our movement and where we might move beyond them. Our movement can hold habits, training, and the unseen forces of perception—both internal and external. But what if we played at the edges of that shaping, neither rejecting or accepting, but exploring the presence between? How do our choices form? And what happens when we shift them? This workshop is a playful excavation of those layers, using improvisation and movement meditation to notice instinct, disrupt expectation, and try on new realities. In navigating the tension between conditioning and possibility, we’ll deepen agency and dismantle assumptions—playing with awareness, intention, and power.
